What are your strengths?

What are your accommodations?

What strategies do you use when studying?

How can you make use of the study guide to ensure that you have learned the material presented in Physical Science?  

How would you compare memorizing what is on the study guide to knowing the concepts that will be included on the test?

Objectives:

When asked about their particular learning styles, students will identify their strengths and explain how they relate to learning.

When asked about their particular learning styles, students will identify their weaknesses and explain the strategies they use to compensate for learning difficulties.

After participating in Learning Strategies students will acquire interpersonal skills that help them to function as a class and a team.  Students will acquire social skills and communication skills.  Students will improve their abilities to make decisions.

Students will interact with others in the class.They will interact as teammates.  They will improve their ability to verbalize their point of view and show respect for others.

Students will practice skills and procedures for learning. They will engage in learning that promotes different perspectives of classroom participation. Students will learn alternative methods of sharing ideas and responsibilities for class assignments.
