GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Students must meet the credit, gpa, and testing requirements as detailed below in order to be eligible for a high school diploma:
- 24 Credits
- 4 Math credits, to include Algebra 1 and Geometry
- 4 English Language Arts credits
- 3 Science credits, to include Biology
- Minimum of 2 credits must be lab-based
- 3 Social Studies credits, to include World History, US History, Government / Econ with Financial Lit
- 1.5 Physical Education credits, 0.5 credits to include Personal Fitness
- 1 Practical / Performing / Fine Art
- Some career and technical art courses meet this requirement
- 7.5 Elective credits
- Online Requirement
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- Testing requirements:
- Level 3 or higher on FSA Reading
- Concordant score of 19 or higher on ACT Reading and/or 430 or higher on SAT Reading
- Level 3 or higher on Algebra I EOC
- Concordant score of 97 or higher on PERT
- Level 3 or higher on FSA Reading
- Character Component (integrated into English 4 curriculum)

For information about the SAT, including test dates, registration dates, and signing up for the SAT, please visit the CollegeBoard website.
**All PFHS students are eligible for up to two fee waivers for the ACT and two for the SAT. SAT fee waivers may be used to cover the cost of the late fee registration (unfortunately ACT may not). SAT waivers also double as college application fee waivers for up to four qualifying universities. Please email your guidance counselor to receive a waiver.
