Mr. Peter Krostag: Director
Though in his first year here in Eagle Country, Mr. Krostag is a veteran teacher
of seventeen years. After teaching for a year in Mississippi, Mr. Krostag transferred
to Escambia County where he began at Brentwood Middle School moving Pensacola
High School in 1992. As a Director, Mr. Krostag has led his bands to competitions
throughout the south where they have received Superior Ratings, Best in Class
Awards and Best in Show Awards.
In addition to teaching and directing the band at Pine Forest, Mr. Krostag
teaches Percussion Methods at the University of West Florida and is the Principal
Percussionist
in the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra. He has been a member of the PSO for 14
years. It is with the Symphony that Mr. Krostag experiences a plethora of classical
and popular orchestral arrangements. These experiences are what drive Mr. Krostag
to give all of his students a solid background in classical music.

WATTS: Brass Instructor/Marching Technician
Hometown: Flint, Michigan
Graduate of Pensacola High School
Experience: Performed as the Featured Soloist in the Pensacola High
school Marching Band. Ed was the Brass Instructor at
Pensacola High school for 3 years.
Accomplishments: Ed has traveled the country playing with musicians
in various musical settings (especially Jazz). As an
Instructor, Ed coached the Brass Sections that won the
Regional Best-in-Class Award for the past two years.
SHARVIN MOORER: Percussion Instructor/Marching Technician
Hometown: Pensacola, Florida
Graduate of Tate High School
Graduate of Pensacola Junior College
Experience: Competed in Drum Corps International competitions as a
member of Southwind. Sharvin was the percussion instructor at
Pensacola High School for 10 years.
Accomplishments: Sharvin has instructed Drum Lines that have won dozens
of awards in competition. He is also considered very influential
as a local Gospel Music artist.
