Required materials for success:

Classroom Rules:
Students should conduct themselves so as not to interfere with the rights of others to learn. Students are to follow the rules and policies of the school. Students should also bring their own supplies to class.

Test Qualifiers:
In order for a student to be eligible to take a unit test, that student must have received credit for each assignment in that unit, when it was turned in, or have completely corrected and resubmitted all assignments for which he/she did not receive credit. All assignments must be handed in by the scheduled test time.

Criteria for credit:

Plagiarism and Test Taking Procedures:
Any violation of the following will result in student work not being graded and possible disciplinary action.
No communication of any kind is to take place.
A student's eyes should never appear to be directed at another's work.
All scratch (work) paper is to be turned in with the test or quiz.
No sharing materials (highlighters, pencils, erasers, etc.).

Grading:
Late assignments will be accepted for a lesser grade (5 - 3 - 0 points); however, all assignments must be compleated for a student to qualify to take a test.
Papers not following Criteria for Credit will not be graded. All work missed must be made up according to Escambia Counter Public School Attendance Policy. Missing a test may result in a lost test opportunity. Whenever a student is absent on the day of the test it can be made up on the next day before school with no loss of credit or opportunity.
For nine weeks grades, tests/quizzes are weighted 90% and homework/class work 10%

Nine week and semester grades are based on the following scale:

90 - 100 = A
89 - 80 = B
79 - 70 = C
69 - 80 = D
59 - 0 = F

For semester grades, semester exams are weighted 20% and each nine weeks grade is weighted 40%.
